We are
dedicated to breeding healthy Havanese. Health, temperament and soundness are
very important to us. Our puppies are guaranteed.
The Havanese are a hardy breed with relatively few health problems. As with any breed, however, there are health issues to be aware of. Our health testing as well as selective breeding with well-chosen bloodlines help to insure you a healthy puppy who will be enjoyed for many years. We do AKC recommended health testing on all of our dogs and strive to achieve the best qualities of the Havanese.
Grooming
Havanese do require regular brushing several times a week. This helps to keep their coat healthy and growing. They can be kept in a shorter cut, which is easier to keep up and is still cute. They need regular cleaning of their eyes, ears and teeth, as well as nail trimming. We offer complete maintenance advice to keep your new "baby" healthy and feeling good.
Is a Havanese For You?
Havanese are very intelligent, yet gentle dogs with a most willing attitude. They thrive when they are a valued family member. They "live to love" you. They are fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, and extremely devoted. Don't get a Havanese if you don't have time to include it in your family. They do not do well if left alone too much.
